How to Parasite in Toilet Verse Tower Defense
Kill the boss, take the infect roll, survive a break, and equip the capture in five slots.
Parasite (also called infect) is how Toilet Verse Tower Defense turns a boss you just killed into a toilet you can place. You do not craft Titans. You do not buy Titan Drillman from the crate pity. You fight the boss, the infect roll fires, and either a new unit lands in inventory or the parasite breaks. This page is that roll. It is not Toilet Tower Defense’s Alliance infect fantasy — in TVTD you already play as the toilets.
Do this after Getting Started and a City Hard clear. If you cannot finish Easy Boss Mode, you cannot parasite Laser Cameraman on purpose. You can only leak.
How infect works
- Equip a loadout that can actually kill the boss. Five slots, miner in one of them, placement cap around 15. See how to play.
- Queue a pad that spawns the boss you want. Easy Boss Mode is the short, honest pad (20 waves). Medium is 30. Hard is 50. Endless Mode spawns more bosses if the run lives long enough.
- Play the match like a normal clear. Infect is not a placement mode. You do not “aim” a parasite toilet at the boss with a special key. You kill it.
- When the boss dies, watch for the infect result. A success puts the parasited unit in inventory. A break is a failed roll on a dead boss. The win still counts. The unit does not appear.
- Leave to the lobby, open inventory, equip the new toilet in one of the five slots, then place it in the next match like any other unit.
Boosted bosses (glow, boosted label) use the same kill-then-roll sequence. The glow improves the tier you can land (Tier 1–5) if the capture hits. It does not skip the roll. It does not make the boss unkillable. Details on the glow live on the Boss Mode page because that is where most people see it first.
The 10x Infect gamepass
The shop sells infect multipliers. 2x Infect doubles the chance. 10x Infect multiplies it by ten. Buy 10x when you are already killing the boss on a repeatable pad and the break rate is the only remaining wall. The Robux split versus Premium lives on gamepasses. Do not buy 10x to compensate for a loadout that dies on wave 12. The pass multiplies a roll you never see if the boss never dies.
The pass does not replace Premium. Premium is 2x AFK coins in the lobby. Infect chance and AFK coins are different products. Codes, gems, and XP potions do not raise infect chance either — redeem those on the codes list for economy, not for Titans.
If you are sharing a match with a friend who owns 10x, you still need the boss to die on a run you are in. Treat group Endless as a spawn farm, not as a free copy of their pass for your inventory.
Broken parasites are normal
A break means the roll failed. Creators say “it broke” because that is the on-screen / voice-line version of a miss. It is not a bug in your inventory filter. It is not because you forgot a hotkey. Rerun the same difficulty. Changing maps after every break is how people never learn which pad actually spawns Golden Cameraman.
Breaks still pay the match. Take the coins. Do not sell the miner in tilt. Do not dump gems into a crate as revenge — crates roll exclusive units such as UFO, Scientist, Glitch, Rocket, Toxic School, Flying Bus, DJ, and Beta Toilet. Those are a different roster. Parasited Titans are this page.
Inventory, equip, rarity tags
Captures land in inventory with the rest of the toilets. They do nothing until equipped in the five-slot loadout. A parasited Titan sitting in storage while you queue four starters is not a parasite strategy. Use the loadout planner when the bench gets crowded.
Rarity wrappers you will see on captures and crates include Exclusive, Godly, Shiny, and Mega. Shiny is a variant, not a second tutorial. Mega and Godly do not auto-place. Trading exists; trade duplicates after you own a usable copy, never the only Titan Drillman on the account.

Target bosses on the Boss Mode pad: Laser Cameraman, Ghost Cameraman, Powered Titan Speakerman, Titan Drillman, Golden Cameraman, Drillman. Kill the name that matches the toilet you want. If a name never spawns on Easy, raise difficulty or take the longer Endless route — do not farm City Easy expecting Golden Cameraman to wander through for the City badge.
What to do the moment a parasite breaks
Stop remaking the loadout. A break is not feedback about your miner placement unless the boss also lived. If the boss died, the build worked. Queue the same pad and the same difficulty while the setup is still in your hands. Swap a flex slot only after three kills in a row miss, and even then swap toward more reliable kill speed, not toward a random Exclusive that looks luckier.
Turn auto skip off for the boss wave so you see the toast. People who auto skip Endless into the next HP pile sometimes miss whether the roll broke or succeeded and then dismantle a working lane. Console players should have B/O ready to close inspect so R2 is free if you still need a last upgrade before the boss enters range — controls if that sentence felt new.
If you own 10x Infect and you are still breaking, you are looking at the remaining chance, not a broken pass. Keep killing the correct boss. If you do not own 10x and Easy Laser Cameraman is the goal, stay on Easy 20-wave Boss Mode until he is in inventory. Spending an hour in Endless for a maybe-Titan you cannot finish is a worse rate than 20-wave repeats you can finish.
After a success, go to inventory before you queue a harder map to “test” a unit you have not equipped. Equip it. Place it on City Medium once so you learn the range circle. Then take it to the next parasite pad. A fresh capture that never leaves storage is how accounts look rich and still leak on Toilet Lab. Check updates if a patch added a new infect target; the kill-then-roll rule on this page is the part that does not change.
The last mistake is treating parasite as the whole game. You still need coins, badges, and a miner. Hunt Titans in blocks: one evening on Easy Boss Mode for Laser Cameraman and Drillman, a later evening on Medium for Speakerman and Titan Drillman, Endless only when Ultimate Titan and extra glows are the point. Between hunts, finish the maps Hard badges you skipped. A roster of parasited names with no City Hard badge is a clip account, not a finished one.
